We're based in vibrant Berlin, Germany, but are happy to travel anywhere within the European Union for events!

From country western to varsity jackets, chainstitching uses looped stitches to create a continuous embroidered line. We use a vintage machine that is over 100 years old and though it is a machine, it is hand guided by an expert embroiderer using a small crank! It looks vintage because it is a vintage process, creating a unique and one of a kind customization for you or your clients.

Like the name suggests, it looks like a chain! It evokes vintage charm: think motorcycle patches, varsity jackets, vintage souvenirs...

Chainstitching is hand guided, making each piece unique! We use a thick, fuzzy, cotton thread made in Germany to add to the vintage feel.

Chainstitch Embroidery works and looks best on twill, stiff cotton, canvas, and denim! Think tote bags, patches, jeans, overalls, dress shirts... That said, we are happy to work with you and use interfacing to keep stretchy fabrics stiff enough to use if necessary.

A chainstitching artist can embroider approximately 20 names or monograms in one hour depending on provided materials.

Yes, we have the capability to work with other embroiderers to meet your goals. A second embroiderer would double our output time.

Embroidery prices begin at 25 Euros.
